The West Coast of the United States was hit by a terrible earthquake which totally destroyed the area burring thousands of people and leaving total devastation. Seismologist Samantha Hill (Kim Delaney) with the help of geologist Jordan Fisher (David Cubitt) is trying to find the answer to the unusual earthquakes. Dr. Hill soon discovers that the county is in imminent danger. A widening fault is heading to the biggest nuclear reactors in the country. If the reactors explode they could cause total destruction and millions will die. The only man that can help them is Samanta’s father Dr. Earl Hill (Frank Langella) who already predicted the disaster. Samantha and the rescue team must find her father and prevent the disaster.
