The movie revolves around Robby Hart (Adam Sandler), a wedding singer who has given up his hopes and dreams of becoming a singer/songwriter. Robby is ready to settle down and get married, but his longtime girlfriend and fiancée decides to dump him on their wedding day. Robby falls into depression and is so upset that he won’t leave the house. His lovely friend Julia (Drew Barrymore), a waitress who works at events where Robby performs, is the one who gets him out of the hole. Julia is engaged herself and asks Robby to help her plan her wedding and even be her wedding singer. What Julia doesn’t realize is that her fiancé doesn’t really care about her. |
