The Campbell family's eldest son, Matt Campbell (Kyle Gallner), is currently undergoing cancer treatment. Concerned about his worsening health, his mother, Sara (Virginia Madsen), decides to move the family out to Connecticut in order to make it easier to take Matt to his ever increasing hospital visits. However, once in their new home, Matt begins experiencing strange and frightening phenomena every night. While at first rationalizing the occurrences as hallucinations due to his cancer treatment, Matt soon begins to wonder if it’s not instead a sinister force rooted in the house’s mysterious and dark past. |
