The Collins family all gathers and come home in “Eulogy” to lay the head of their clan to rest. Soon after each one is ready to the stab the other in the back as all the buried secrets come to light. The daughter Lucy (Kelly Preston) is a lesbian and has brought her lover Judy Arnolds (Famke Janssen) along. The angry, neurotic sister Alice (Debra Winger) is outraged at this union. Daniel (Hank Azaria) the son is an up and coming porn star and finishing out the gathering of greedy siblings is Skip (Ray Romano) whose twin sons add commentary to the families actions all while the widow and now head of the family, Charlotte Collins (Piper Laurie) in the midst of this crazy insanity tries to commit suicide. Leaving Kate Collins (Zooey Deschanel), a confused college student who tries to prepare her eulogy that has a secret about her own friend now turned lover.
