In a love song to the City of Lights, the world's greatest directors and cinematic artists have come together to create a series of short films strung together to create "Paris, je t'aime." In it, Gurinder Chadha (Bend It Like Beckham) explores the Muslim issue. Gus van Sant provides a cute story of gay lust. An erratic journey through the city and its sporadic violence mark the Coen Brothers' contribution. Juliette Binoche stars in a vignette about a grieving mother. Maggie Gyllenhaal stars as a troublesome actress in another. More all-star directors and actors round out the rest of the vignettes, each attributed to one of the city's arrondisements or neighborhoods.
