Enoch (Luke Grimes) is a pretty normal teenager, who is a star pitcher for his baseball team. He has, however, a few unusual traits - a bad stutter, a love of poetry, and a best friend who is wheelchair bound. Enoch's best friend, Wheels (Dan McCabe) has severe cerebral palsy, and has learned to live life without caring about what anyone thinks of him. Enoch spends much of his spare time with Wheels, and their friendship is going strong. In thanks to Enoch for all of his help and care, Wheels sets Enoch up with the beautiful and popular Abby (Misti Traya), and gets a college scout to come watch Enoch pitch. Wheels quickly regrets his choices, however, when he realizes that his actions may take his best friend out of his life for good. Will Enoch take the opportunity to leave his friend behind, or will he realize the value of his friendship and find a way to balance the various directions he's being pulled in?
